This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal and privileged information obtained through this website, electronic communications, and surety bond application processes under the California Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act (California Insurance Code § 791 et seq.), the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).

In our capacity as a surety bond producer, we collect personal and non-public financial information necessary to underwrite, issue, maintain, and service surety bonds, civil undertakings, and insurance products.
- Identifiers & Contact Details: Full legal name, aliases, mailing address, physical address, email address, telephone numbers, and Social Security Number (SSN) / Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN).
- Court, Legal & Fiduciary Case Records: Case titles, case numbers, county and court branch jurisdiction, copies of petitions, wills, letters of administration/testamentary, court orders setting bond, inventory and appraisal documents, conservator/guardian appointment records, and related court pleadings.
- Sensitive Conservatorship & Guardianship Information: To underwrite fiduciary bonds for conservatorships (of the person and/or estate) and guardianships of minors, we may receive information regarding the protected person (conservatee or minor ward), including asset inventories, care plans, or court investigator reports submitted as part of the underwriting file.
- Financial & Underwriting Data: Personal and corporate financial statements, banking information, liquid asset verifications, balance sheets, tax returns, credit reports and history, real property schedules, and trust deed documentation.
- Real Estate & Title Information: Property legal descriptions, recorded deeds of trust, title reports, promissory note details, and escrow closing instructions (for lost instrument and reconveyance bonds).
- Digital & Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and website interaction metrics collected automatically via cookies or site analytics when accessing our website.
2. Sources of Information
We collect information directly from you as well as third parties:
- Directly from applicants, principals, indemnitors, and their designated legal counsel or authorized representatives.
- Title companies, escrow officers, financial institutions, and co-sureties.
- Public court records, probate dockets, county recorder filings, and state licensing boards.
- Consumer reporting agencies (credit bureaus) and background check providers for underwriting evaluation.
3. Purpose & Use of Personal Information
We use collected information solely for legitimate insurance and business purposes permitted by law, including:
- Evaluating eligibility and underwriting applications for surety bonds, undertakings, and related insurance products.
- Binding, executing, delivering, and filing surety bonds with California Superior Courts, state agencies, title companies, or obligees.
- Administering bonds, processing renewals, managing collateral, and investigating claims or default notices.
- Complying with statutory, regulatory, court-ordered, and legal reporting obligations.
- Preventing fraud, identity theft, material misrepresentation, and financial crime.
4. Disclosure of Personal & Privileged Information (CIC § 791.13)
Under California Insurance Code Section 791.13, we do not disclose personal or privileged information about you without your prior written authorization, except as explicitly permitted or required by law:
- Surety Companies & Underwriters: To authorized surety insurance carriers and managing general underwriters to evaluate risk, rate, and issue the requested bond.
- Courts, Obligees & Title Entities: To California Superior Courts, county recorders, title insurers, escrow holders, and obligee government agencies as required to deliver and validate the executed bond.
- Service Providers: To trusted third-party vendors (such as secure cloud storage, credit reporting bureaus, IT infrastructure) who are bound by confidentiality agreements to use data only for requested operational functions.
- Legal & Regulatory Authorities: When required by subpoena, court order, regulatory inquiry by the California Department of Insurance, or to protect against fraud and legal liability.
We do not sell personal information, nor do we share or disclose personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or unaffiliated marketing purposes.
5. Data Security & Storage of Sensitive Records

6. Your California Privacy Rights (CIC § 791.08 & CCPA/CPRA)
Subject to specific legal exceptions governing active litigation, court proceedings, and insurance underwriting records, California residents hold the following rights:
- Right to Access & Know: You have the right to request access to the recorded personal information about you in our records, receive a copy, and learn the identities of third parties to whom it was disclosed within the prior 2 years.
- Right to Request Correction, Amendment, or Deletion: You have the right to request correction or deletion of inaccurate personal information. Upon receipt of a written request, we will respond within 30 business days as mandated by California Insurance Code § 791.09. If a correction is disputed, you have the right to submit a statement of disagreement to be placed in your file.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you, deny service, charge different rates, or provide a different quality of service for exercising your statutory privacy rights.
